Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei website (http://zetsubou.kc.kodansha.co.jp/) has announced the release of a two episode “Dake Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei” Original Anime DVD (OAD) series. The first episode will be released on October 17th as a premium packaged with limited edition copies of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei manga volume 15. The concluding volume will be released on February 17, 2009 as a premium included with limited edition copies of manga volume 16.

Moon Phase Diary reports (http://d.hatena.ne.jp/moonphase/20080712#p1) that a third season of Black Lagoon anime has been greenlit for production.
Kyou no Go no Ni heads directly to TV
Young Magazine has announced that Xebec will produce an anime TV series adaptation of Coharu Sakuraba’s Kyo no Go no Ni (Today in Class 5-2) comedy manga. The manga was adapted into a 4 episode OVA series in 2006.
Kuro Shitsuji Anime Announced
Animage Magazine confirms development of an anime TV series adaptation of Toboso Yana’s bishonen lighthearted drama manga serial Kuro Shitsuji.
Mouryou no Hako Anime Announced
Moon Phase reports (http://d.hatena.ne.jp/moonphase/20080708#p2) that Madhouse will produce an anime adaptation of Kyougoku Natsuhiko’s award winning mystery/horror novel Mouryou no Hako. The anime will be directed by Nakamura Ryosuke, whose has previously directed episodes of Madhouse’s Death Note and Nana anime television series. Character designs will be provided by CLAMP.
Konnichiwa Anne anime announced
Japanese publisher Shinchosha has announced (http://www.shinchosha.co.jp/book/211339/) that Budge Wilson’s new children’s novel “Before Green Gables (http://www.beforegreengables.com/),” a prequel to Lucy Maud Montgomery’s classic 1908 novel Anne of Green Gables, will get an anime adaptation under the Japanese title “Konnichiwa Anne”.
Third Tamagotchi Movie Announced
The official Japanese Tamagotchi movie website has announced a third theatrical anime film based on the Tamagotchi digital pet franchise. The “Eiga! Tamagotchi Uchuichi Happy na Monogatari!?” movie will open on December 20th.

Gekkan Shonen Magazine has reportedly revealed that the upcoming Alive -Saishuu Shinkateki Shounen- (http://www.gekkanmagazine.com/topics/080616aliveAnime/080616aliveAnime.html) (Alive: The Final Evolution) anime television series will be animated by Gonzo & AIC studios and directed by Hiraike Yoshimasa (Solty Rei, Sketchbook ~full color’S~).
