I ended up in a certain manga site where I found this particular manga which had an interesting cover. I thought it was rather boring at first---then the next thing I know is that I found myself wanting for some more volumes. Here is a quotation from Daily Manga about the said series:

EDEN is set in the future where most of the population has been destroyed by a deadly virus that turned skin into stone and humans into empty shells. Survivals are now cyborgs or immune children.

Two of these children gave birth to Eliah Ballard and fifteen years later, Eliah tries to survive in this chaos and anarchy with his robot, Cherubin.

A lot of issues were dealt with here (i.e, drug-abuse, prostitution) and I guess growing up is one of the main themes. Why don't you give it a try? If you are a fan of bloody but sensible series, (o゚▽゚)o go for this.

Sounds interesting, and this seems to be a very old manga, so far it has 16 volumes, from 1998 to the present.

Many, many years! :p

Eden: It's an Endless World! is a manga by Hiroki Endo (遠藤浩輝), published monthly in the magazine Afternoon. Eden is set in the near future, following a pandemic which killed 15 percent of the world's population, crippled or disfigured many more, and upset the world's political balance greatly.

Eden is to some extent based on Gnostic mythology, with few characters being named after Gnostic characters, but the range of this influence is difficult to determine.

Thanks Mien good recommendation!

Fufufu~ no problemo! The series is actually one of my favorite manga out there, ( ゚▽゚)/ y'know!

It might contain nudity and violence but I assure you the manga goes way deeper than merely fanservice.
