Studio Fantasia To Animate Agent AIKa Sequel?

http://www.anizeen.com/images/stories/06y/09/0409aika.jpgAccording to a post to Studio Fantasia's message board, they will be working on a new anime project titled "AIKa" in 2007. The project could possibly involve Stratos 4 Director Takeshi Mori or Character Designer: Noriyasu Yamauchi.

The info was first leaked in the Stratos 4 Log Book which went on sale in Japan last week. Official confirmation is expected. In 1997 Studio Fantasia (http://www.studiofantasia.co.jp/) produced the animation for the 7 part Agent AIKa OAV series.

Coincidently, coming up on the 10th anniversary of that work, an official website (http://www.aika-sumeragi.jp/) for the coming remaster DVD's will open on Sept. 1st. More at: AiKa (http://www.aika-sumeragi.jp/)

The formal title of the new AIKa OVA series has been revealed as "AIKa R-16:VIRGIN MISSION". Japanese release is scheduled for 2007. :smitten:

The first R2 DVD volume of Studio Fantasia and Bandai Visual's AIKa R-16:VIRGIN MISSON streets in Japan on March 23rd. The release commemorates the 10th anniversary since the debut work.

The story depicts Aika as a high school girl ten years prior to the previous OVA. Her role becomes pivotal in the search for an undersea treasure.

A special limited edition will be sold for 7,350 Yen including 30 minutes of extra footage, a special storage box which can hold all three volumes, soundtrack CD and special booklet.

Running Time is 40 minutes. Lead Seiyuu Koshimizu Ami performs the theme song. Staff includes: Director: Katsuhiko Nishijimam Screenplay: Kenichi Kanemaki, Music: Jun'ichi Kanezaki, Character Designs: Noriyasu Yamauchi, Chief Animation Director: Noriyasu Yamauchi, 3DCG Director Tatsuya Kono, Theme Song Performance: Ami Koshimizu. lol yeah, seems like this anime is cool, but I just don't know the difference between ecchi and hentai, I think ecchi is only about pantsu and that stiff right?

'Ecchi" is softcore sexual stimulation, such as panties shoots, jiggling boobies, occasional nude scenes with bits and pieces covered up, but perfectly visible.

"Hentai" is hardcore depiction of sexual activity, which usually is pornographic in nature.
