Oh... having a scholarship is great, a great help for anyone! :)
And what is your major? Studying Human Growth and Developement and Drawing is not a thing i've seen on a daily basis. :p

I start on the 5th of September. I was in Computer Programmer Analyst, but I decided that I wanted to get back into art, so now I'm taking Graphic Design/Marketing. I may go back a finish CPA after I'm done this; I haven't decided yet though.

Lol...it doesn't help when you agree about something you're being teased about xD
But yeah, I can't wait to go back to college though. 3 LAN parties have already been scheduled with my friends ^^

Anyway...
There are four (4) different level of degree in US.
Associates Degree (2 years) -> Bachelor Degree (2 years after Associate Degree) -> Master Degree (2 years after Bacherlor Degree) -> Ph.D. (2 or more years after Master Degree).
If you earned Bachelor Degree, you also have Associates Degree. However, you will not say "I have associates and bachelor degree", each higher degree replaces all previous ones. Most people simply take 4 year program to learn Bachelor degree, some take 6 year program for Master degree.
There are also goverment funded College/Universties and privately funded ones. Privately funded college/university are privately owned and usually have strict admission guidelines, they also usually provide upto Master Degree programs. It is very rarely that they offer Ph.D. Private college/universities are usually strictly specialized in a specific field of study.
Goverment funded college/universities are publicly owned and operated by some tax player money, even though they do charge admission fees. Unlike private colleges/universities they have a bit relaxed adminission guidelines. There different level of public college/university, State University and Community College. There is one State University per State, and it usually really big and offers every kind of degree and level, Ph.D. in every possible subject. Community Colleges are usually on a per city or per community level. They usually offer only Associate degree, and rarely Bachelor degree. Like State University, they also offer learning in all areas of study.
In addition, University is usually a collection of different colleges.

Vexy so wise! :smitten:
It is really different in here, you have pre-school -3years- --> primary school -6 years- --> secondary -3years- --> high-school -3years- --> then you go to college, maybe 4-6 years... --> if you want a master, it's 2 more years, --> a Ph.D -2 or more years-
*tackles Vexy!*

Wow...your curriculum sure is different from ours too. xD
We kind of have Prep, then Kinder 1&2---Grades 1-6, Year I-IV for High School, then your college years depend on the course you take (I think 2 is the shortest and 10 would be the longest).
Anyway, it's holiday for us because of Holloween. <3 I wouldn't want to think of going back to school---na-ah. I'm having so much fun around the internet.
