View Full Version : A Wii bit of a problem.

So, a funny thing happened the other day while I was playing with my Wii.

I mean my Nintendo Wii, not my ... OK, I'm sorry, I can't make yet another puerile Wii joke. They were barely funny six months ago; now it's like chewing glass from a broken formaldehyde jar. And you're looking at a guy who can amuse himself for hours just by repeating the words "monkey farts" over and over.

Anyway, I was playing some Wii Sports on my new Nintendo console, getting into a tennis game like a virtual Roger Fedrer ... Roger Ferdererd... like Bjorn Borg, and on a particularly energetic overhead smash the Wii controller slipped from my sweaty hands, flew out the window, ricocheted off my neighbour's Lhasa Apso and launched into space, eventually landing in the heart of the sun and triggering a chain reaction that will cause it to go nova and destroy all life on our planet roughly about ... now. Sorry about that. Hey, can I be on your website?

I read that article too, but honestly I've never had a problem with the strap. Then again, I've never accidentally thrown the remote either. ;D

I never wear the strap.
I more likely to crush the remote in my hand than to throw it.

DNS has the Iron Grip of Death! xD

I always use the strap but I've never thrown it. My five year-old cousin almost did once, though. >.>

lol....I accidently broke several of my friend's gamecube controllers because of over-torquing the controller.
Of course, I did replace them...

[off topic]Not her personal ones anyways xD[/off topic]

But still, people have head issues if you think you need to swing the controller that hard to do something...

I'm fat.
But I'm active.

Here's my exercise training regiment:

Step 1: Get up
Step 2: Get chips bag
Step 3: Sit back down in front of computer
Step 4: Open chip bag
Step 5: Lift arm
Step 6: Place arm in bag
Step 7: Grab chips
Step 8: Lift arm out of bag
Step 9: Lift arm towards mouth
Step 10: Open mouth
Step 11: Attempt to get chips in mouth
Step 12: Close mouth
Step 13: Lower arm to mouse
Step 14: Chew
Step 15: Chew some more
Step 16: Swallow
Repeat steps 5 - 16 until bag is complete.

Nice training program. The question is, can you burn more calories than you ingest? xD

No bugs per se, although once or twice I've had a connection issue between the remote and the system. The remote operates by a wireless signal that syncs up with the system~ It's usually caused when the batteries are low or something, but I can easily fix it. Just replace the batteries or push the sync button to re-sync it, no problem! ;) Like I said, it rarely happens...
