Dear Anizeeners...
To continue in a spirit of Updates & Upgrades thread, here are some more Updates & Upgrades...

Anizeen got wider

You may have noticed that instead of the usual 800 pixels width, anizeen is now 1024 pixels in width. Why we increased the width? Well, it's because we were running out of pixel real estate. :prop: Plus, we also know how you all wished for more Anizeen on your screen, and now your wishing came true.

But besides that, according to side statistics only 5% of anizeen visitors are using 800x600 display. And if you do, isn't it time to update?

Anyway, the frontpage, the forum and the gallery are now 1024 pixels in width. :love:

Welcome back to the new Anizeen. We are celebrating our first year around with an important upgrade on our system.

We are sure you'll enjoy the new website, unfortunately, password must be reset before our old users can log in.

Ask for a new pasword, or you can always ask one of our admins to do it for you.

Finally, the rating box seems to be working well... took so long to fix it >.<

We have updated the tag code for :xP: smiley. The original tag code was interfering with YouTube tag under certain conditions.

Please note the new tag code for :xP: smiley and update your older posts if you so desire.

After Halloween, let's go back to our regular style, some modifications were made to make the load faster. :D

Also, the Downloads section was upgraded to the latest version, please take a moment to verify everything is working fine, otherwise, let us know to work on a fix as soon as possible. :)

OK, time to test the new spolier tag. If you use the spoiler funtion, remember it won't be hidden in the thread preview you get while "mousing" over.

So, make sure to add it after 2-3 lines of text. :D

The forum "Neko & Mikan News Network" under "News Media" has been renamed to "Flapdoodle" and been moved to "Hanami Huddle".


Old description: "Neko & Mikan Fake News Network. Broadcasting mock and fake news 24/7 for everybody's enjoyment."
New description: "Do you have a flapdoodle on your mind? Post it here and feed it to the others!"


For all those who are not versed in Good Ole' English:

A fitting description for that forum? Don't you agree? Not the mention its new home is in Hanami Huddle :bow:

We replaced flash banners with regular banners, this will make the page laod a little faster and will let you use the top right notification system, when available. :drop:

Finally running vB 3.8... several changes were made, so I remame some parts of the templates.

Still have to check why tags are not working on the frontpage u.u

WEll, finally had time to make some adjustments to the downloads section, several buggies were fixed, and a couple of features included.

Now... the chatbox had some critical error issues, tried to upgrade to the newest version and got even worse x.x

Will try to reset it later... or find a new one, sorry u.u

OK, zefi pointed out the need of a new category inside the download's section, that's why we started a new one inside direct downloads.

In Doujin Games, you'll be able to find sone interesting fan-made videogames, some of them are really nice and well done.

OK, reordering some forums, enabling links on downloads forums, c'mon and share direct links. :D

Podcast might run inside the site, still testing :P
