Well, unfortunately, since my work is a good 25 minute drive, I have to drive back and forth about 5-6 times a week.

There is no "public transportation" unless you count Taxis (which are god-awefully expensive and dangerous drivers) in my area, so I am forced to drive.

I have, however cut back a lot of luxuries, such as: the casino, simple cruises, I even cut back when I go grocery shopping (which I usually drop another $200).

In the end, it's roughly costing my about $150/month.

Right now, gas prices are hovering around $1.31/litre.

What's the situation on your end?

It's so high that most of the people I know have to ride the bikes. xD As for me, I'll walk (mostly) and public transportation. I hate driving anyway.

Well... compared to other nations, we still have cheap gasoline. Around 60 usd cents a liter.

It increases each month... and is controlled mainly by the government, not by the oil prices. x.x

Well, they seem to be trying out a trend:

Well... I'd quit using my car, but public transportation is really bad in here... and I live really far from everything >.<
