Winter TV Anime Season 2009

It seems that Winter 2009 will be filled with a lot of known faces, or we might say anime characters, either way, the new year bring us old, and not so old, memories from series like Maria-sama ga Miteru, Shikabane Hime, Minami-ke, Natsume Yuujin Chou and old time favorite Hajime no Ippo.

Also, you might be prepared, because Birdy DECODE has a second season filled with action, and what can we say about Slayers and its new season EVOLUTION-R.

If you like "idol" anime, probably WHITE ALBUM will be your series this season. And what about powerful loli? Then Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo, Kurokami or Ride Back are ready for you.

Of course, you can't have an anime season without an harem series, Asu no Youichi is your choice. Or how about an inverse version with Kin-iro no Corda - second passo.

The intriguing animes for this season might be Akikan!, the GONZO anime Tower of Druaga - The Sword of Uruk, the historical Genji Monogatari Sennenki and the comedy extravaganza of Maria Holic.

I'm looking forward to the Touhou anime, playing the games was a lot of fun.

actually there are a few im looking forward to that i know will be great. touhou Ova definitely i alrdy seen the first episode, i hope they make lots more

other i know will be good and everyone should look forward to are Switch, Kurokami, Holic (of course), Birdy, Sora a kakeru shoujo, tower of druaga, and of course my favorite this upcoming season Higurashi no naku koro ni Rei.

I'll be watching Birdy and Druaga no To. I know many people like toudou works and hyped about the anime, so I'll be checking that out too. The rest doesn't seem appealing to me until I learn more about them.

I have seen the first season. It's not a bad anime, but I didn't have a strong impression of it. I don't remember why, maybe the storyline was somewhat confusing, with all the chapters and different perspectives. I did like the opening theme. lol
