Baka to Test to Shokanju Anime in 2010
Monthly Dragon Age magazine has formally announced the development of a Baka to Test to Shokanju anime based on Kenji Inoue’s series of comical romantic fantasy novels. The light novel series is set in a school that strictly stratifies students, and the comforts of their classrooms, by test scores. The lowest ranked class rallies to use experimental fantasy summoned monsters to battle the higher ranked classes for school supremacy.
New Kyo no Go no Ni OVA
Kodansha has formally announced the development of a new Kyo no Go no Ni OVA. The new OVA will be released as a premium packaged with a limited edition release of Coharu Sakuraba’s original manga.
Clannad After Story DVD OVA in July
The eigth and final Japanese DVD volume of the 2008 Source: Clannad After Story television series will include a new “Another World: Kyou Arc” episode - an alternate continuity story starring character Kyou Fujibayashi.

Omamori Himari TV Anime will come true
The fifth volume of Matra Milan’s ecchi romantic comedy manga series Omamori Himari announces that the series will be adapted into an anime television series. The 2006 and ongoing manga series is the story of a high school boy that’s protected by a sword-wielding cat girl spirit.
There will be more Hidamari Sketch
Moon Phase Diary reported the production of a new Hidamari Sketch anime was announced at Cho Hidematsuri Z publicity event in April.
Third Naruto Shippuden movie in August
The official Japanese website commemorating the tenth anniversary of the Naruto manga has announced the title and release date of the sixth Naruto motion picture. Naruto Shippuden: Hi no Ishi wo Tsugumono, the third Naruto Shippuden movie, will open theatrically on August 1st.
Mini-skirt Space Pirates Anime Announced
Japanese online magazine MaguMagu reports that author Sasamoto Yuuichi’s Mini-skirt Space Pirates (Mini-skir Uchuu Kaizoku) light novel will be adapted into an anime.
Second Stitch Series Announced
NTT Communications has formally announced plans for the production of a second Stitch! anime television series, based on Disney’s 2002 motion picture Lilo & Stitch! The first Stitch! anime series, animated by Madhouse, aired in Japan last year.
