Gorillaz - Stylo (feat. Bobby Womack & Mos Def & Bruce Willis)

Gorillaz are a British virtual band created in 1998 by Damon Albarn of Britpop band Blur, and Jamie Hewlett, co-creator of the comic book Tank Girl. The band is composed of four animated band members: 2D (lead vocalist, keyboard), Murdoc Niccals (bass guitar), Noodle (guitar and occasional vocals) and Russel Hobbs (drums and percussion). The band's music is a collaboration between various musicians, Albarn being the only permanent musical contributor. Their style is a composition of multiple musical genres, with a large number of their influences including: dub, hip hop, alternative rock, electronic and pop music.

Gorillaz is always hit or miss with me, probably because they have different people collaborating on different songs. I like some of their songs but others don't really appeal to me much. They've been around a long time though, I remember first hearing about them when I was in high school.

  5. I really like this one ("Stylo"), "Clint Eastwood", and "Feel Good Inc"... Others not so much.

For some reason, I don't recall hearing about Gorillaz until now... But when I playing "Clint Eastwood" and "Feel Good Inc" on youtube (after hearing "Stylo" and searching for other Gorillaz songs), it was like déjà vu kicking me in the face and continuing kicking even after I was down.

... and the weird part, I don't even recall where I heard "Clint Eastwood" and "Feel Good Inc" before... if I even did.
